German Violinist Anne Sophie Mutter Mentioned That Taiwan Impressed Her The Most During The Global Tour.
The talented violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter was awarded Best Instrumentalist at the 2023 German Opus Klassik. In the interview, she mentioned Taiwan as the most impressive country, “This country has always impressed me deeply,” Mutter said, “because it has a very large and young audience who love opera and classical music to a degree beyond our imagination, and who learn instruments and attend a classical concert are… I think it’s a super cool thing.”
It was not the first time that Mutter performed in Taiwan; she also remarked that the sound system at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) was truly exceptional, ranking among the best.
